Attended Transfer / Blind Transfer / Direct Transfer to Voicemail
Attended Transfer allows you to notify the extension you are Transferring a call to: To use Attended Transfer, (Do NOT use the HOLD BUTTON to place the CALL ON HOLD). Simply press the Transfer Button on the phone or the Transfer Button under the Display during an active call. This places the Caller on Hold. Then either Dial the Extension or press the associated Extension button. When the other party answers, announce you have a caller for them and would they like the call. If so, simply press TRANSFER again to send the call to the extension, which drops you, off the call.
Blind Transfer allows you to immediately transfer a call to another extension. When on the call, Press TRANSFER which places the Caller on Hold. (Do NOT use the HOLD BUTTON to place the CALL ON HOLD). Then dial the extension, or press the associated Button, and then Press Transfer again. This sends the caller to the extension. When the other party picks up the call, the caller is on the phone.
If the Extension does not answer after ringing the phone, the caller goes to the Extension’s voicemail.
Direct Transfer to Voicemail: You may send a caller directly to another extension, without ringing the phone, and have the call go directly to their voicemail. This process varies depending upon your service:
CALL 7 CONNECT Service: Answer the call, press Transfer, then dial ** and the Extension. Such as **1002. You cannot use the BLF Key for this function.
CALL 7 ENTERPRISE Service: Answer the call, press Transfer, then dial *55 and the Extension. Such as *551002. You cannot use the BLF Key for this function. You may however use your MaX-UC to Transfer Calls.
CALL 7 Hybrid Premise Based PBX: Press TRANSFER, Dial *12 and the extension. Such as *121004. You cannot use the BLF Key for this function. You may use the Linkus Desktop app to Transfer Calls as well.
